Bed & Breakfast boat
Do you want to rent our B&B boat with the family? We start sailing again from 16/05/2024. We can accommodate four adults plus two children. In the winter period, a specific route can be sailed after consultation.
As a couple, Hilde and Noël do everything to make your trip a unique experience of calm and relaxation. They like to let their guests enjoy a beautiful trip on the water along the French waterways. After a wonderful night's sleep, you wake up in the morning with an sumptuous breakfast. During the day you can relax on board and enjoy the scenery. When the ship is moored, you can discover the area to your heart's content. There is also the possibility to rent bicycles or possibly fish in the calm waters.

The ship
The Nanajesa, named after the four lovely daughters of the owners, is owned by skipper Noël Smet and hostess Hilde Arcay. The ship was built in 1907 as a 98 ton cargo ship with a 10 hp steam engine. After having been converted several times, it has been restored as a luxury motor pleasure boat, meant for the French canals.
The captain
Noël comes from a skippers family and therefore has experience as a skipper, both in passenger shipping and cargo shipping. As a sailor he started at the age of 16 on board the ship of his father. He became owner of his first ship by his 21st birthday, which he chartered till he was 38. He then worked ashore until he was 54, after which he became skipper again as the first captain on river cruises for the American market until 2018. And now he stands on board of his own ship again.
